Come Together: In Song, In Movement, In Spirit.

Sandy Hook, one year later – December 14, 2013.

A snow storm blanketed this peaceful community in snow exactly one year after the tragedy in Sandy Hook, but the elements couldn’t keep a group of like-minded friends and neighbors from gathering, contemplating and finding joy in community connection.

Peace through drumming. Love through commUNITY.

Nature-Inspired Day of Healing

RemoMy Circles Of Love – with drums and hoops in hand – will be heading over to Sticks & Stones Nature Center and Two Coyotes Wilderness School in Newtown CT this Sunday to help out with their Family Fun Day for about 400 Newtown residents!

Two Coyotes’ family day will center on healing nature activities that will help families rebuild morale and find strength in community while having fun! Justin Pegnataro, the Executive Director of the school, will be giving an informative talk about “The Powerful Healing Effects of Nature on Children” followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

Enjoy fun nature activities for the whole family such as:
making fire without matches
a wild edible plant hike
wildlife tracking
storytelling
nature games
natural art
drumming
music

We’re proud to be a part of this wonderful fun and healing event and help spread the joy of life through hand drums and hula hoops that many of you helped make possible : )

OR IN-KIND DONATION

Remo Drums & our hoop manufacturer have offered us rock bottom pricing for this special program, and while 26 drums have been purchased to date in honor of those lost in the senseless & tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, we’d like to do more with the help of people like you.

If you would like to help this worthy cause and keep the healing music flowing in Newtown, please contact me for a TAX ID NUMBER.

Have a drum or other gently used rhythm instruments you’d like to donate, please consider contacting me with details.

Small or large, your donation will be put to great use for years to come.
